About the Role

ACON is seeking a passionate a senior manager with proven program management experience and a passion for fostering teams to lead the delivery of our health promotion and community development services for people of diverse sexualities and genders.

We have a great opportunity for an exceptional leader to use their superior people and project management skills, along with their extensive knowledge of the health and community system, to lead the delivery of our health promotion and community development services to meet the health needs of our communities across a wide range of health needs including:

• Alcohol and other drugs,
• Domestic and family violence,
• Mental health,
• Community inclusion and
• Ageing.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of these health services and the issues that affect the access of people of diverse sexualities and genders to them. Strong planning skills and the ability to effectively lead and build teams are a must.
