We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced People Performance Partner (PPP) to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by partnering with the business to provide strategic workforce management solutions.

Purpose of the People Performance Partner role

The People Performance Partner will partner with the business, providing strategic, best practice, and practical advice and guidance on workforce management and solutions. This includes talent management, employee and industrial relations, capability, policy and procedure developments, and specific programs and initiatives in the designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in providing advice and guidance around employment legislation, National Employment Standards, awards, relevant workforce policies, and procedures.
  • Coach and support managers in managing local matters and Employee Relations matters escalated to a formal process.
  • Lead and conduct the investigation process for matters escalated to Human Resources.
  • Provide proactive support and advice in improving workforce performance, including workforce compliance, mandatory training, and quality performance indicators in the disability sector.
  • Provide support and coaching to build manager’s capability and awareness around people management and employee relations processes.
  • Work proactively with management group in planning, implementing, and embedding people-related strategies, programs, and initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in providing advice and guidance in a complex HR environment, ideally in the Disability sector.
  • Understanding of workers compensation and return to work process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation, award conditions, managing complex ER and IR matters.
  • Ability to provide clear advice and guidance.
  • Highly responsive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
