The Social Media Producer is a specialist who ideates, creates, tracks and optimises ACF’s social media engagement strategy.
A superstar storyteller, the Social Media Producer wields their words and creative design brilliance to attract new supporters and engage our existing community to support our awesome campaigns on Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. They are not just a creative, but are details-oriented as well, tracking and measuring organic content and ads to produce meaningful insights for each campaign.
Reporting to our high achieving Media and Investigations Manager, and working as part of the wider Engagement Directorate, the Social Media Producer has the space, support and resources to take ACF’s campaigns to new heights.
The Social Media Producer need to be available during times of peak social media engagement and therefore hours can vary at times.
You will have demonstrated experience working in a social media engagement role and have a deep understanding of the tone, etiquette and audience of each social media platform. You know how to present complex information in simple and attention-grabbing ways to engage our audience and you love tracking the reach of your efforts.
You are a content creation magician, with a strong portfolio of work to show for your experience. You’re ‘punny’ and confident in using appropriate humour to get your point across, quickly pulling together content that will get positive attention.
Part of this will involve managing our social media voice, and mitigating risk when it comes to breaking news or those stickier, more controversial topics so of course, you’ll have a wide interest in current affairs and an understanding of the news cycle.
Above all, you’ll need to show initiative, creativity, and originality. Show us what you’ve got by sending in a video selfie with your application!
