About the College

The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a member-based organisation whose principal role is the training, assessment and professional development of emergency doctors for Australia and New Zealand.

The Position

Due to organisational growth, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled front-end developer. As a senior developer, you will work collaboratively within a growing team to develop sophisticated websites and web apps that are scalable, performant and maintain a good user experience.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Highly developed proficiency in VueJS and a solid understanding of Vue’s core principles.
• Highly developed proficiency with Vue’s ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS.
• Advanced ability to write clean, well documented with JavaScript code.
• Proficiency with SCSS, and modern CSS standards, including CSS properties, CSS Grid, and can utilise methodologies.
• Solid understanding of the use of SVGs and animations
• Advanced experience with testing frameworks, web service and modern development tools.
• Proficiency and understanding of version control using BitBucket or GitHub

Please note, this is a newly created position; full time, 2-year fixed term contract.
