The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Change and Communications Lead to join the Communications and Brand Strategy team during a pivotal time for the College. Reporting to the department manager, this newly created role will lead the implementation of high quality communication and change strategies for College projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to promote the benefits of proposed change initiatives, ensuring that different needs are contemplated in communication plans.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience developing communication strategies within an organisation undergoing significant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor communication plans for different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit tailored content for change management projects and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders in a diverse membership organisation.
  • Experience working in a member-based organisation will be highly regarded.
