abrs (Australian Barnardos Recruitment Service) is a key revenue stream for Barnardos Australia. 100% of our net revenue goes directly to Barnardos programs to support youth, children and families across NSW and the ACT.
The Social Care team:
We are expanding due to the increased client demand for our service.
Our current team are kicking goals but in order to grown we need driven, motivated and energetic Recruitment Consultants to join us. We are a team built on trust, positivity and shared values to succeed!
The role:
- Recruit for front line roles across a couple of the following verticals Disability, Aged Care, Children services, Mental Health and Housing
- Build relationships and service a proportion of our 14,000 database contacts
- Provide a recruitment and consultation service to new and existing 5,000 clients
- Source, screen, interview and communicate regularly with all applicants and candidates interested in speaking about their career
- Attend meetings with clients regularly to promote abrs
- Work closely with colleagues to follow up on leads, working collaboratively to hit goals
You:
- Energetic, passionate and motivated approach to work
- Open communication to maximise team success
- Experience in Recruitment or Social Care sector advantageous
- Willingness to learn, develop and reflect on your skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Driving license

Please note that it is a requirement for abrs to run a National Police Check, a WWCC is also required.
