An exciting opportunity has become available to work for Barnardos, one of Australia's leading children's charities. A full time Program Manager is required for our Permanent Family Care Program, Find-a-Family. The position is based in Shellharbour.
Barnardos Adoption and Permanent Family Care program is an innovative program established to meet the needs of babies, pre-school and older children requiring secure and permanent family placements.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Program Manager, Permanent Family Care will be responsible for setting and monitoring standards of appropriate professional conduct of staff within one of the Permanent Family Care teams.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Social Welfare or related discipline; a minimum of 3 years' management experience in child and family welfare and in foster care or a related area of out-of-home care; strong advocacy skills concerning adoption for children in out-of-home care; experience of providing effective staff management and supervision.
You must have a current driver's license and NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
$85,855 - $111,785 p.a (including base and super, but excluding Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT).
