An exciting opportunity has become available to work for Barnardos, one of Australia’s leading children’s charities. Barnardos Australia builds relationships between children, young people, their families and the community. They advocate for children and young people and contribute to community knowledge about their issue.

The Role

Barnardos Australia are looking for a permanent full time Payroll Officer to work at Head Office based in Ultimo Sydney. Barnardos has a Fortnightly Payroll of 650 employees and Motor Vehicle Fleet of 350 cars; this role is a combination of payroll processing and fleet management.

The Candidate

The successful Payroll Officer will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience
• Previous experience in Motor Vehicle Fleet management
• Understanding of computerised payroll and HRIS, and accounting systems
• Knowledge of Enterprise agreement and relevant awards
• Numeric accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel
• Previous experience working for Not for Profit agency is desirable

Additional Information 

To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance, current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check

Salary: $65, 946 - $73, 985 (including FBT packaging) + benefits + Super. Motor Vehicle packaging is optional.
