About the role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our leadership team and drive our organisation's income growth, engagement and financial sustainability. Reporting directly to the Executive Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our funding diversity, enhancing brand recognition, and implementing strategic income development initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the future of our dynamic organisation. In this position, you will be responsible for building upon the work undertaken over the past 3 years to modernise our membership categories, deepen the investment of our current sponsors, manage relationships with donors and expand income streams from grants and philanthropic trusts.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive income development strategies across multiple revenue streams
  • Oversee implementation of marketing and communications strategy to build brand awareness
  • Manage budgets, deliverables, and sales reporting across income development operations
  • Lead and develop the Growth and Engagement team
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships with consumers, volunteers, partners, and funders

What you'll bring

  • 3-5 years’ experience delivering successful strategic income development campaigns, ideally with charities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce or relevant field
  • Proven project management skills and track record
  • Experience leading and developing teams, including staff and volunteers
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong financial management and budget oversight skills
  • Exceptional time management, coordination, and prioritisation skills

At ABA, you will be part of a highly committed, supportive team who are passionate about enabling parents and families to give their babies the best start in life. 

This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) has been classified as SCHADS Level 6, $110,111 p.a. pro-rata excluding superannuation.  As an employee of a charity holding HPC status, you can salary package up to $18,550 each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year. 

Our work environment is flexible and inclusive. Hybrid is available after the probation period, generally 60/40 office/WFH with Tuesdays being the day most are in the office. ABA embraces diversity.
