We are seeking a Direct Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team based out of Parkville, Victoria. This role will be responsible for the segmentation, build and deployment of direct marketing activity to support Dementia Australia in raising awareness of dementia, it’s impact on people, families and communities.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Strategy Manager, Brand you will also be responsible for:

  • Collaborating closely with the broader Marketing team and internal stakeholders to develop a strategic approach to digital direct marketing
  • User experience mapping across campaigns, customer segments and/or products and services
  • Understanding the customer database to develop appropriate segmentation of data
  • Planning, managing, and implementing direct marketing projects while also maintaining channel guidelines, templates and requirements
  • Analysing and reporting on activity to provide insights for continuous improvement and optimisation

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated working knowledge of digital direct marketing best practice and a desire to stay ahead of technology and change
  2. Experience with mailchimp (required) and Microsoft dynamics (desirable)
  3. Proven analytical and segmentation experience to drive growth and engagement (required). Experience with Power BI is a plus
  4. A proactive, positive and enabling mindset with a demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  5. Demonstrated ability to implement multiple projects and meet deadlines
  6. Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer experience and delivery value to customers
  7. A love of data, testing and learning with a strong desire for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications and a minimum 3 years’ experience in a direct marketing role
