We help organisations implement, optimise, learn and enhance through key developments. We specifically work with a range of not-for-profit organisations within many different roles, but our major focus is within Fundraising through our consultancy and Salesforce add-on product called Payments2Us.

About the Position

AAkonsult is seeking an experienced fundraiser with interest in broadening their horizons with Salesforce CRM. They we will work with a range of Not-for-Profits/Organisations increasing their knowledge and understanding within the Not-for-profit industry/Salesforce ecosystem. They will be part of a dynamic team, designing and delivering world-class solutions using the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include leading the vision for AAkonsult’s clients’ needs around CRM, guiding business stakeholders through workshops, and helping define solutions that meet both near- and long-term objectives. As a Salesforce Not-for-Profit Consultant Specialist for AAkonsult, you’ll help our clients achieve success by advocating for their business needs and end users throughout each stage of the implementation process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or facilitate sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements
  • Develop project-level or application or business-specific approaches and plans for testing, training, data migration, documentation, communicating, project reporting, and offering post-production support
  • Actively participate in the development and sharing of Salesforce knowledge throughout the organisation via participation in blogs and internal lunch and learns.
  • Provide assistance and knowledge transfer to other AAkonsult staff.
  • Achieve Salesforce product certifications to successfully advise and direct clients on best practices for both business process and platform optimization
  • Travel to/with client or project team as needed. This includes local, national or international travel
  • Record and update time-sheeting and internal CRM and other systems in a timely manner.
  • Provide Support for Payments2Us product and for consulting product
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Non-profit experience – To have working knowledge of Not-for-profit organisations that many of our clients are in this space.
  • Fundraising experience – Experience within fundraising teams and understand what a typical fundraising team will need in form of a CRM.
  • Content knowledge— Experience with Salesforce CRM and fundraising solutions within.
  • Communication—Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical techniques—Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting outcomes.
  • System configuration—Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary
  • Team player—strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary
  • Project management—Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understand core project management concepts, theories, practices and methods
  • Change management and scope control—Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues’ management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations
  • Client training—Develop client training plans and lead train-the-trainer and end-user training sessions as required
  • Time management—organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability—Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly research, assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Creative—innovative and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to abstract detail into larger patterns, familiarity with user-centred analysis and evaluation techniques.
  • Self-management—experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Fundraising experience
  • 2–5 years of Salesforce CRM experience
  • BA or BS in Business or Management Information Systems preferred
  • Salesforce certification preferred
