• Salary - $32.67 Per hour ($29.39 per hour during training period) + 10% superannuation
• Must be available from June to October on Weekends, Public holidays and Victorian school holidays

Visitor Services Officers play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional visitor experience for all visitors to Werribee Open Range Zoo. We are looking for confident communicators who will engage with our visitors, promote the zoo's Memberships, campaign's and commercial products, Work in a cohesive team and uphold the zoo's values.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous face to face customer service experience
• Be a strong and confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
• be available for work on weekends, Public Holidays and Victorian School Holidays

Demonstrated skills:

• Visitor first attitude
• Confidence engaging with a wide variety of visitors
• Ability to upsell add on products and maximise sales outcomes
• A welcoming and inclusive attitude

Please note:

• All shortlisted applicants must be available to attend the Assessment centre on Monday 23rd May (Note you may be required from 9:30am to 5pm).
• Induction will be Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th June
• Training will start from the Wednesday 8th June onwards.
• All successful applicants must have the ability to obtain a Working with Children's check and a National Police Check
• Be Available to work from the start of June 2022 through to October 2022 on Weekends, Public Holidays and Victorian School Holidays
• A Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate is required
