• LOCATION: Sydney or Melbourne

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Chief of Staff (Graduate Role) will support Young Change Agents Founder and CEO in their day-to-day functions. This role provides an opportunity for an early graduate to learn all aspects of the organisation and support a range of functions from project management, partnerships, and business development, communications and government relations and program support. This role will report to the CEO with a dotted line to the COO.

• Project Management (30%)
• Partnerships and Business Development (30%)
• Communications and Government Relations (20%)
• Program Facilitation and Support (10%)

KEY ATTRIBUTES FOR THIS ROLE:

• You love all things start-up (Innovation, design thinking, social enterprise, lean start-up, building the eco-system)
• You are an expert communicator and love equally communicating visually and in written form!
• You can’t think of anything more exciting than supporting the next generation to solve real-world problems through social entrepreneurship
• You are proactive with mucking in – helping the CEO with strategic projects, supporting business development, and improving productivity for growth. Running a workshop every now and then would be a source of inspiration for you!
• You are tech-savvy and have some experience with social media, webinars, CRM systems, and other platforms such as Canva.
• You are results-orientated. You like setting goals and exceeding expectations.
• You love problem-solving. If something doesn’t go to plan you find another way!
• You have both a high attention to detail and the ability to see the strategic big picture.
• As you are working remotely you need to be organised and love working independently. (You will see the team online every day and face-to-face as opportunities present themselves!)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Australian Driver’s License and registered vehicle (preferable)
• Working with Children’s Check or ability to apply
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

ABOUT YOUNG CHANGE AGENTS:

Young Change Agents is a social enterprise that helps youth see problems as opportunities through the lens of social enterprise. We use design thinking and lean start-up methodologies to build the mindset, skillset, and toolset of youth. Partnering with industry and government alike we’ve been supporting students and educators across Australia since 2016.
