Why our team needs you

Our Community Support department are looking for a Youth Worker to join the Youth Development team providing support to our youth projects and programs, and embedding principles of youth voice, inclusion and access.

This role will provide support to our youth projects and programs such as FReeZA and the Youth Advisory Group. After hours work is required as well as an ability to adapt to change and think on your feet.

The Youth Worker will develop partnerships with other organisations and be a support role to other facilitators and program leads. This role will be working directly with young people with a focus on young people aged 12-25 years and also with the middle years cohort aged 8-14 years.

What you’ll bring to our team

  • Qualifications in Youth Work or Social Work or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with the youth sector and youth engagement.
  • Skills in working with people from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • A dedication to asset-based community development.
