Youth Support + Advocacy Service (YSAS) is Australia’s largest and most comprehensive, youth specific community service organisation that enables young people experiencing serious disadvantage to access the resources and support they require to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
headspace Frankston is a local consortium of 10 agencies including Peninsula Health, Frankston City Council, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, drug & alcohol services, employment and education services, private providers and social welfare agencies. This strategic alliance of services aims to establish a local collaborative service improving access to early intervention health and mental health services for young people aged 12-25 and their families, and is an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of seriously disadvantaged young people.
The clinicians will ensure that the care delivered to the young people is of the highest possible standard, reflecting the headspace Frankston Clinical Service Framework to ensure young people and their families receive timely, responsive and suitable services to meet their needs. In addition, the clinicians will work collaboratively with the Mornington Peninsula Shire youth services. The clinicians must be energetic and enthusiastic and capable of working within headspace Frankston youth partnership approach to deliver services within the community and enhance health care access for the target age group.
Please note that some after-hours work will be required to meet the needs of young people and their families.
