About the Centre

The State Office is home to YMCA Victoria support functions being Payroll, Business Systems, Finance, Marketing and Engagement and the People & Culture Team.

The office is situated in the vibrant Box Hill area, which is host to many amenities; food, transport (Train & Buses) and parks.​

Key Elements of the Role

The Digital Content Editor is responsible for the governance, management, development and continual optimisation of digital content across all YMCA Victoria owned and managed websites and key digital channels. The position holds a full time status with an annual salary package of $61,107 – $64,742 dependant on skills and experience.

  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent digital copywriting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and deadlines
  • Understanding of digital marketing and advertising, SEO and SEM

Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a relevant marketing, communications or digital role
  • Experience using an enterprise CMS (preferably Sitecore) to manage content across multiple web sites
  • Experience writing for websites and online channels
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing digital content marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with the services and or not for profit advantageous

Qualifications

  • Working With Children, Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement).
