Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service (Wurli) is a fully accredited Aboriginal community controlled health service providing comprehensive preventative and clinical health services to around 3,500 Aboriginal people living in Katherine Township and its surrounding town camps. They have locum opportunities over the Christmas period December to January to cover resident GP's leave. The GP's are part of a multidisciplinary primary health care clinical team consisting of general practitioners, GP Registrars, RAHP's, trainee allied health professionals and registered nurses.
Clinic opening hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Locum is not required to provide on-call services or work weekends.
All transport from the nearest major airport to and from your location is arranged by NT PHN. Accommodation and vehicle will be provided by the health service. The vehicle is not available for use outside of work hours. Accommodation includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, TV, DVD player and radio.
Must have current non-restricted registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or vocational registration.
