Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in working with children and young people (12-18 yrs.) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and extensive experience with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), child protection system.

Our client is a well renowned not-for-profit who has been supporting people, families, and communities for over 200 throughout Australia. They are seeking a OOHC Case Manager to join their highly supportive team of 6 in the Penrith region. This organisation is passionate about making positive change in the lives of their clients and their employees alike. They support their staff with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week, flexible working hours, a rostered day of each month, gym & health rewards along with vehicle packaging which includes all KM's petrol, insurance, repairs, and breakdown service. What you need to be successful

  • Demonstrated experience working with risk children & families in the community sector
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Social work, Welfare or Psychology or related disciplines is highly desirable
  • Experience identifying & addressing child protection concerns
  • Demonstrated assessment and case management ability
  • High level communication both written and verbally
  • Available to participate in an on-call roster (shared between 4 separate sites)
  • Current driver's license (Pool cars are available, so you don't need use your own car)
  • In addition to OOHC, DCJ or Family Preservation experience highly regarded.
