We are seeking an experienced Family Violence Practitioner to step into a Team Leader role within The Orange Door Werribee team!

The salary for this role is a SHADS Level 7 (between $104,866.32 to $109,253.04 plus superannuation).

GenWest (formerly Women’s Health West) is a family violence support service. We deliver programs that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives. We support people based in Melbourne’s west.

The Orange Door service brings together different practices and services, providing a consolidated intake point and whole of family approach. Key aims include increasing the safety and wellbeing of family violence victim survivors and holding perpetrators accountable for their behaviour. Specialised training and the opportunity to upskill will be provided.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Specialist Family Violence Team Leader to lead this new and growing team of skilled professionals.

The role will report directly to the Family Violence Home Agency Manager, working closely with The Orange Door Team Leaders, Specialist Family Violence Senior Practitioners and Practitioners to manage the day-to-day coordination and oversight of a specialist family violence team. This will include:

• Recruit, train, coach and mentor new and existing staff across the employee lifecycle
• Professionally represent GenWest whilst working within a diverse service matrix management model
• Collaborate with other service partners and provide specialist family violence knowledge
• Oversee service quality delivery adhering to various policies and procedures.
• Champion, drive and enact GenWest’s organizational purpose, mission, values and culture.

The Team Leader position is available on either a full time or 0.9 EFT basis and paid at GenWest EA Level 7 pay point negotiable dependent on experience (ranges from $104,866.32 - $109,253.04) pro rata EFT + 10% superannuation.
