Our Organic Vegetarian/Vegan cafe, located in the bustling heart of North Fitzroy, is looking for a 2IC to support our passionate team. Wild Things Food highly values sustainability, using local and organic produce to create a delicious, nourishing range of food and drinks to support the community with vitality and connection.

We are a small, yet passionate team that focuses on minimising food waste, allergy friendly, local and organic vegetarian and vegan cuisine, great coffee, smoothies and health focused drinks.

You are:

• Passionate about health and sustainability
• Highly experienced in coffee making, all round hospitality/cafe skills
• Eager to learn more from the team
• Driven and confident in supervising a team to run efficiently and effectively (supervising experience helpful, but not necessary)

The role will be between 4-5 days per week, with one weekend day.

You will assistant the Cafe Manager in, but not limited to:

• Creating and maintaining a positive work environment, team leadership/supervising
• Customer service, customer inquiries and feedback
• Management of food and beverage, menu and communication with kitchen
• Maintaining cafe environment to high standard
• General cafe closing and opening
• A place to be creative and grow our ever expanding range!

Must be available to work for more than 6 months.
