Your new role –

The Gold Coast Community Support Program (GCCSP) Program Manager leads a small team responsible for assertive outreach work in the community to people experiencing situational and psychological distress contributing to suicidal risk. This role is responsible for program establishment, partnership development and ongoing service operational management. You will work collaboratively to:

  • Manage and lead a small team including basic human resource management, training and/or coaching to enhance performance development.
  • Lead the establishment of the program as per the service model including recruitment and onboarding and referral pathway development.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of caseload management ensuring effective, quality service delivery and demand management.
  • Lead, develop, implement, and evaluate the Gold Coast Community Support Program delivery.
  • Ensure the program meets the key deliverables as determined by the funding agreement.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Degree-level qualification in human services or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated significant experience working in human services at a management level.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing a program that includes workforce and budget management.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply risk management strategies within a program establishment and project-based context.
  • Demonstrated experience and the ability to manage all aspects of the human resource functions of the team, including supervision, performance development and management and team building.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills include facilitating, negotiating and consulting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Current Driver's licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
  • Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination, including the recent booster.
