Wellways Australia is the Carer Gateway service provider in South West Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains and Queensland. Carer Gateway service providers provide carers with practical information, advice and support to access services that help them to sustain in their caring role. Carers are people who provide a caring role to someone in their life who has a disability, mental health issue, chronic health condition, terminal illness or is frail aged. The Carer Gateway Service Manager will focus on further developing the Queensland Carer Gateway team, Wellways Carer Gateway reputation/brand and expand and diversify our service offer in the area.
Your role will enable you to nurture and develop a capable and committed team to ensure all carer objectives are met. Using your communication skills, you will endeavor to develop Wellways Carer Gateway profile and presence in the area as a leading provider of carer services. Wellways commitment to our values and progressive practice principles will help you to have success in everything you do.
As our Service Manager you will be reporting to the National Manager Carer Gateway Service Delivery and will perform several key leadership and management functions. You will work closely with Wellways Regional Managers to ensure all programs within the region integrate seamlessly.
You will have oversight of community engagement, coaching, in person peer support and counselling teams throughout Central Queensland. Some travel will be a requirement of this role.
This is a full-time fixed term position until 30th June 2024 and pays a salary of $115K + 10.5% superannuation depending on skills and experience. We are looking for candidates in central QLD, including Toowoomba, Ipswich, Roma, Mount Isa area., location negotiable for right applicant. As Wellways is a NFP you will also receive salary packaging options up to $15,899 + meal and entertainment package.
