Established in 2013, the Socio-Legal Practice (SLP Clinic) is an innovative program that assists people experiencing disadvantage who are often socially isolated or with limited supports. The Social Worker/Program Manager works within the SLP Clinic which provides person centred, holistic support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, people who have experienced or at risk of experiencing family violence and/or sexual violence and/or people with disability.
The Social Worker works in partnership with a CCL lawyer to support people to actively participate in their legal matter. The position also contributes to the ongoing planning, reporting and evaluation of the SLP Clinic.
