Following the recent alignment of Uniting Vic.Tas.’ Tabor House Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Withdrawal Unit with our AOD & MH metro services, we offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join our leadership team.
The Team Leader will provide support and supervision to the team of youth residential AOD support staff and will manage the day to day operations of the youth community residential Alcohol and Other Drug withdrawal service to ensure optimal treatment outcomes for the young people accessing the program.
The role will be closely connected with our broader Uniting Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health division with significant opportunities for professional development, clinical guidance and leadership support.
The Team Leader will provide local management oversight in line with Uniting AOD clinical governance that ensures practice consistency across all of our residential AOD treatment programs.
Adhering to evidence based AOD and MH guidelines, policies and procedures, the team leader will ideally have a nursing background, and will join a network of nurses with expertise in clinical AOD nursing.

Our ideal candidate will be someone with experience in clinical and leadership roles with the Alcohol and Other Drugs and/or Mental Health Sectors, preferably within residential/in-patient care. Ideally you will have a background in nursing, however we will consider allied health experience including social work, psychology, occupational therapy, and similar.
