About the role

Wesley Disability Services is a part of the Wesley Home & Residential Care Portfolio alongside with Wesley Residential Aged Care and Wesley Home Care Services.

The Operations Manager, Disability Services (Children and Young People) is responsible for the operation and development of our Intensive Therapeutic Care-Significant Disability (ITC-SD) Program. The Program provides accommodation and therapeutic care to children and young people who have been diagnosed with a significant disability. It has a strong focus on facilitating and supporting young people with their journey to recovery from trauma with a team-based approach to providing individualised, person-centred care.

The role reports to the Head of Disability services and is supported by a Program Manager, Therapeutic Specialists, and House Managers.

About you

It is a great opportunity for a committed individual with:

  • experience in managing disability accommodation services and Out of Home Care
  • ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services in a competitive environment
  • understanding and experience with DCJ, NDIS and other relevant funding models and strong business and financial acumen
  • sound understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements and current issues impacting on the disability sector
  • relevant qualifications, clinical qualification and experience desirable
  • current driver’s licence, NDIS Worker Screening Clearances, Working with Children Check, COVID-19 vaccination.
