About the role

Wesley Vickery has 69 rooms, with a number of gardens, in the quiet leafy suburb of Sylvania

An opportunity is available for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Officer to join the team on a part-time basis. Previous handyperson experience in a similar setting will be highly regarded.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary, in a cost-effective and timely manner
• maintain the home environment to present it at its best always, both internally and externally
• conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties
• oversee contractors as required.

Essential criteria

• maintenance/handyperson skills
• knowledge of occupational work health and safety
• ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams
• excellent communication skills
• experience providing high levels of customer service
• ability to work autonomously and manage own time.
