About the role

Wesley Conference Centre is looking for a Sales & Guest Relations Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Responding to new and returning client enquiries
• Providing event proposals for venue hire, catering and AV based on the client’s requirements, ensuring revenue is maximised
• Invoicing clients and managing debtors
• Following up with clients for repeat opportunities

Essential Criteria

The ideal person for this role will have a proven track record of:

• Excellent written communication skills and professional telephone manner
• Previous sales experience in a hospitality, events or hotel environment
• Excellent customer service skills, a friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
• Proficient at multi-tasking
• High attention to detail, organisation & time management skills
• Experience working with Ungerboeck Event Software and PeopleSoft Financials is highly desirable but not essential
