Wesley Dalmar is a leading out-of-home care agency in NSW. We have a proud history of caring for children, young people and their families since 1893.

About the role

We seek an experienced Case Manager to join our Out-of-Home Care team based in Hawkesbury. Our offices are based Penrith. You will support children, young people, families and foster carers in out-of-home and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people on your caseload.

This is a child-related role, and the Case Manager engages with children under 18.

Essential criteria

  • bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Social Welfare
  • experience in casework practice in out-of-home care
  • knowledge skills and experience working with children and families
  • demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard
  • ability to liaise, network and maintain solid working relationships with community groups and government departments
  • excellent administrative and time management skills
  • current unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
  • experience in managing electronic files and databases.
  • current Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in Out of Home Care
  • Knowledge of the Permanency Support Program (PSP)
  • Working knowledge of the various legislations that govern Out of Home Care in NSW.

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 5, with capacity for salary packaging and the provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle available for private use. Superannuation is paid in addition at 11%.
