We are in the game of helping people and as an Employment Consultant in our Disability Employment Services team you will be key to making employment opportunities accessible for everyone. You will provide an outstanding level of customer service, motivate, encourage and support our customers through the journey of searching and obtaining sustainable employment.

You will collaborate with local community members, employers and other associated networks to build relationships and advocate for hiring and supporting people with disability in the workplace. You will help provide a wraparound customer service to our customers in employment ensuring stability and the longevity of their employment.

Since 1992, WISE has been committed to providing quality employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services to people with disability and less advantaged members of the community. WISE also operates two highly successful socially inclusive social enterprises and a range of other programs and services aligned to the needs in the community.

This opportunity is a full-time maximum term contract to 30 June 2023 aligned to our funding arrangement.

About you

The successful applicant for this role will demonstrate extensive customer service experience with a commitment to a customer-centric work culture. You will be adaptable and demonstrate curiosity and creativity to challenge the status quo. You will be resilient and adopt a solutions-focused approach to your workload and be able to bounce back from challenges with ease. You are motivated to work hard and tackle any challenges in an agile way, continually evolving the way you work.
