Who are we?

Wintringham is a not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, NDIS, housing and related support services to People over the age of 50 who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We employ over 1000 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and Tasmania.

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join the Quality Team as an Internal Quality Auditor on a Part Time basis.

The role will be reporting to the Quality Manager and perform internal audits across all Wintringham sites and programs ensuring the services provided by Wintringham are of the highest standard.

The fortnightly roster will be as follows:

Week 1 & 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (0800-1600)

Your duties and responsibilities will also include:

• Undertaking audits in accordance with the relevant standards and Wintringham Policy & Procedures
• Reviewing and adapting audits to reflect current audit process
• Applying "Observational Means" to analyse and report via the internal audit program on any identified gaps or risks to the Organisation
• Communicating identified gaps and risks to the relevant Site Manager or Program Manager for remediation
• Undertaking other duties as required by the Quality Manager or Chief of Staff

We are looking for candidates with the following:

Your excellent time management, analytical skills and attention to detail will be supported by the following:

• Understanding of the auditing process as it applies to services relevant to Wintringham
• Knowledge of aged care, NDIS, homelessness and housing Commonwealth and State Government policies
• Previous experience in auditing is highly advantageous and previous experience in Homelessness/Outreach/Housing Support
• An understanding of the contemporary issues affecting the not-for-profit sector, particularly with regard to housing and all aged care services
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Systems
• You will have a relevant qualification in Nursing (RN or EEN) or relevant discipline
