An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to lead a team of Project Managers based in Kooyong.
Responsibilities
As a Property Portfolio Manager at Vision Australia you will:
- Developing property Portfolio Strategies and Asset Plans with Management, following consultation with all business divisions
- Manage the relationship with and monitor service delivery requirements of the appointed Outsourced Property Services Provider;
- Provide regular portfolio and individual property reporting to Management and the Vision Australia Foundation Board that deals with:
- Portfolio Management;
- Asset Management;
- Facilities Management;
- Financial Management (ie: forecasts and budgets);
- Strategic Projects;
- Acquisitions and Divestments; and
- Quantitative and Qualitative Benchmarking.
- Lead and manage the internal VA Property team and manage the Outsourced Service Provider in accordance with agreed KPI’s.
- Continuously drive a process to maximise efficient management and usage of group properties including:
- Capital expenditure programs
- Development
- Re-development and refurbishment
- Town planning and approval issues
- Sub-leasing/assignments
- Community partnerships and other innovations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Sound knowledge of property markets with acute market intelligence
- High level ability around quantitative reporting and financial analysis
- Good understanding of valuation principles and impact on asset values
- Strong ability to communicate to all stakeholders
- Key requirement to develop excellent relationships with internal business units
- Think strategically always striving for optimum outcomes
