Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 people clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced IT Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Parramatta.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Customer Support Specialist at Vision Australia you will:

  • Provide desktop support, encompassing PCs, printers, systems to user groups across the business
  • Provide support for business applications (e.g. SalesForce, Office 365)
  • Troubleshoot hardware and undertake/organise maintenance and repair of PCs and peripheral equipment to ensure stakeholders have desktop access at all times
  • Review outstanding incidents and keep key staff/relevant informed of progress
  • Provide a consistently high level of service to our customers in a prompt and pleasant manner

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary certificate in information technology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer service that maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Experience with all Windows desktops operating systems
  • Knowledge, exposure or experience with Windows XP/7, Active Directory, MS Office Suite, MS Lync and Skype[DM1]
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
