Victim Support Service (VSS) is a not-for-profit organisation providing services and advocacy for crime victims in South Australia. Qualified staff and trained volunteers located in 8 offices throughout SA provide free and confidential support for victims of crime, their families, friends and the wider community.
We are looking for a Helpdesk Officer to join our dynamic and dedicated team. As the first point of contact for victims of crime the successful candidate will be an active listener, an excellent communicator and be able to convey empathy and respect through their telephone manner. The position requires the ability to think on your feet, grasp the purpose of the call quickly, and record information provided accurately. High level administrative, computer (Microsoft Office) and organisational skills are essential.
Salary: 0.6 FTE of $53,549 to $57,205 (ie $32,128 to $34,323), based on qualifications and experience, plus salary sacrifice options.
Appointment subject to DCSI Vulnerable Persons clearance. Driver’s licence required.
