This is a continuing full-time position (36.75 hours per week) at the HEP Level 7 classification and the salary range is $90,891 per annum - $98,385 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation contribution.

Reporting to the Director Student Equity, Safety and Wellbeing Services, this role is pivotal in ensuring that Victoria University (VU) delivers an exceptional student experience by planning, developing, implementing and maintaining support services for students with disability. The team embrace the social model of disability- acknowledging that the removal of barriers are key to success and to ensure students participate in university life equitably.
This role works both individually with students for access as well as enhancing competency in accessible education through capacity building projects.
The Student Equity, Safety and Wellbeing Team work together to ensure students at VU are supported to bring their whole self to study through the provision of programs and services that advance equity, wellbeing, advocacy and accessibility supports and practical welfare solutions. This collaborative and integrated team work together with the academic colleges and other student areas to provide excellent experiences in all areas of student life.

Significant training with relevant experience and specialist expertise in the delivery of support services to people with a range of disabilities, preferably with experience within an educational setting.
