Oasis is our beautiful, safe, short-term respite accommodation for children with a disability, aged between 6-18 years old in the heart of Ivanhoe. It’s a sanctuary for children and teenagers which has been designed, inside and out, with their sensory processing needs in mind. With its indoor climbing wall, backyard featuring specially designed outdoor play equipment, landscaped garden and a cool cubby house, our specially designed house is sure to be a child’s oasis - just as its name suggests. The house can accommodate up to five children at any one time and operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

We are offering a wonderful full-time opportunity to join Oasis Ivanhoe as a Team Leader.
This fundamental role will be integral in managing the day to day operations of our Accommodation Services, including: providing operational and people leadership to a team of 12 Support Workers (RSWs), roster coordination, managing financial budgets, attend to all incoming calls and email queries, liaising with resident families as well as the provision of quality person centred services to residents.
Your exceptional leadership and people skills with a natural ability to listen, learn, influence and build effective relationships with your team will be key to your success.
You will hold relevant qualifications (minimum Certificate IV in Disability) and have demonstrated experience leading teams within the disability field. Furthermore, you will be skilled in providing direct personal care to children and young people with a disability and / or additional needs. You will also have:
