The Community Legal Education (CLE) team works collaboratively across Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) and with external service providers, to design and deliver legal education strategies. The program’s focus is delivering services that prevent legal issues from arising or escalating.
The CLE team are seeking an experienced Coordinator with a passion for community education. Working within a small and dynamic team, you will develop, deliver and maintain innovative community legal education tools (including publications and other resources). You will work closely with other CLE team members and relevant stakeholders to advise, deliver, monitor and evaluate projects.
You will have experience in developing targeted and effective educational resources in collaboration with others. You will have highly developed written and interpersonal skills, and a good knowledge of print and digital mediums. You will have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. You will have demonstrated experience in the in monitoring and evaluation of projects.
Crucial to your success in this role, will be your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also have a willingness to learn and contribute to the promotion of our organisation and its values.
To be eligible for this role you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Arts, Community Development, Communications, Education or Social Sciences. Experience working with disadvantaged communities and an understanding of the community sector will be an advantage.
