About the Opportunity

The Epping Clinic Coordinator is responsible for working closely with Executive Management Team reporting to the General Manager of Operations. The Epping Clinic Coordinator is a central role in all the Clinical and Operational requirements of the VAHS Epping Clinic.

This position will actively contribute to the achievement of the Clinics business objectives, including increased practice patient numbers, attendance rates and billings. The position will work within the established policies, procedures and practices at the various clinic locations.

Key Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

  • A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitivity and effectively with Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Knowledge and understanding of VAHS clinical systems and processes including MMEX, MBS, Quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of VAHS operational systems and processes including Human Resources, Finance, and VAHS Policy and Procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, oversee staff and site management.
  • Computer and word processing skills that demonstrate your experience in using MS Office package, (Word, Excel), email and use of patient information/recall database systems.
  • Demonstrated effective coordination, data analysis and strategic planning skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including a high standard in effective communication.

Qualifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Relevant Health related qualifications or experience in Aboriginal Community Health Sector, (and/or similar)
  • Experience in coordination of clinics with varying degrees of established processes and systems.
  • Project and program experience in data analysis and strategic planning skills
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated project administration, coordination, training and workforce support skills
