As the Family Meeting Convener reporting directly to the Practice Leader, you will play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections with families. Your responsibilities encompass identifying and mobilising family support networks, as well as navigating discussions with families facing notable concerns regarding the safety and well-being of children and young individuals. Collaborating closely with Aboriginal children and families, along with government and sector partners, you will actively contribute to diminishing the disproportionate representation of Aboriginal children within the Child Protection system. Your overarching goal will be to champion improved outcomes for children, ensuring their welfare is prioritised and safeguarded.
