About the Role

The Administration Assistant position will sit under the Morwell administration team and will play a key role supporting the program staff in working with Aboriginal children and families, Government and sector partners to deliver quality services.

This position will be a part of the office management team and broader Morwell VACCA team, working across all program areas.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, culturally appropriate and respectful way with a range of stakeholders including staff, Government and agency partners and clients.
  • Good organisational skills including time management and the ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Demonstrates effective and culturally appropriate interpersonal skills in all aspects of their role and in performance of duties.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and meets agreed schedules and timelines.
  • Good computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as a member of a team, and a willingness to participate in training and supervision as required
  • Requirement: Current COVID-19 vaccination (Including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a valid Victorian Drivers License
