The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a Senior Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinical service offerings for the GambleAware services across Sydney Central, Western Sydney and Blue Mountains, and South West Sydney. The role is to lead and manage an experienced team of clinical psychologists, including supervising psychologists, financial counsellors, community engagement officers, and intake officers in addition to overseeing clinical interns, and working with the Director and Clinic Manager to oversee clinic functions and professional development across the three regions.
To deliver the GambleAware Program, the Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic (GTRC) is working with three sub-contracted organisations; Uniting Care, CatholicCare Sydney and Wesley Mission to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies for problem gambling.
Working closely with the Clinic Director Professor Sally Gainsbury, the successful candidate will be required to oversee provision of clinical services, clinical supervision, training, and clinical governance oversight within the GTRC and its partner organisations, as well as providing leadership to other counsellors and support to the Manager and Director of the GTRC.
