We are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health and in order to deliver on the University’s ambitious strategic plan, we are seeking an Indigenous Education Support Officer to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to navigate university systems and processes, and provide education support services in line with academic requirements, and the overall timetable for the work area, and provide a broad range of education administrative and operational support to Academic and Teaching staff to meet the educational (teaching and curriculum) support needs of the Faculty.
Please note that Aboriginal heritage is a genuine qualification for this position and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
There is an onsite requirement for this position, and current University of Sydney students are not eligible to apply. This role may require travel within NSW for one or two weeks a year.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
