Associate Director - Student Mental Health and Wellbeing - Wollongong

  • Level 10: $180,000+ (Annual Remuneration Package - base salary + superannuation)

Division of Student Life

This exciting new role will lead the development of mental health and wellbeing strategy, and innovative approaches and practices, to enable the University to deliver exceptional student experiences.  The position will lead and manage the operations of services provided directly to students including counselling, mental health services, support and advice, critical incident support, accessibility, and inclusion services.  Our services encompass specialist services to all UOW Australia campuses, international student support and UOW managed residences.  The role reports directly to the Director of the newly formed Division of Student Life.

You will have significant leadership experience in the development and implementation of wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention postvention strategy and operations, qualifications in an area of professional practice and effective strategic management and leadership skills. Experience building cohesive programs and evidence of successful outcomes will ensure your success in the role.
