Uniting Communities is seeking a full time Senior Practitioner to join our New ROADS team across various sites.

About The Role

This is an exciting time for you to be a part of the leadership team of New ROADS, a residential rehabilitation and counselling service. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive service of professionals providing holistic and innovative drug and alcohol, mental health counselling and case management. The Senior Practitioner will:

  • Undertake client centred coaching to New ROADS staff
  • Engage with the team and business unit to communicate relevant information, provide direction and guidance and effectively strengthen team performance and interaction
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • In consultation with the Service Manager and People and Culture, manage individual and team performance
  • Evaluate service delivery processes, propose, develop and implement improvements
  • Help to break down the stigma associated with AOD and mental health issues

About You

You will have professional experience in case work of AOD, co-morbidity, addiction and homelessness issues, demonstrated experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team, the ability to evaluate outcomes against expectations and experience engaging staff and building a positive working environment.

About the Remuneration

The salary range will be between $77,800 to $81,900 per annum in addition to superannuation. As a not-for-profit organisation we provide the ability for our staff to salary package up to $15,900 per annum that enables you to increase and maximise your take home salary. Additionally you can salary package meals, entertainment and holiday accommodation up to a maximum of $2,650 per annum.
