About the Role:

Uniting has a great opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor contractor with an ABN to join our Uniting Institute of Education (UIE) team on a contractor basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of accredited qualification programs for Uniting staff enrolled in our UIE programs. The program focus for this role is Aged Care - Home and Community Care (H&CC)

This is a closed contract role with a competitive hourly rate for approximately 12 months with possible extension, We currently have roles available in the following areas: Lismore, Newcastle and Sydney. We are open to location! Let's make something work together!

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Focus on Certificate III Individual Support and related courses
  • Plan and train clinical and non-clinical training materials
  • Deliver accredited and non-accredited training programs
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with stakeholder requirements

Qualifications:

  • RN, aged care, dementia and palliative care experience
  • Registered Nurse with Training and Assessors qualifications
  • TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Enrolled Nurse
  • Cert III /Cert IV in Aged Care

Experience:

  • Exposure to health, ageing or community services preferably in a clinical setting
  • Ability to train and assess and must have recency of practice
  • Experience in writing and delivering training and developing programs
  • Able to manage a number of projects at once, utilising your resources effectively
