The Intake Clinical Data Quality Worker will ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and consistent by creating and implementing data quality checks and procedures. The Worker will work with stakeholders to identify areas of data quality concern and determine root causes, as well as provide recommendations to resolve issues. The Intake Clinical Data Quality Worker will also monitor data quality metrics, provide regular reporting on data quality, and collaborate with other teams to continuously improve the quality of data.

  • 2 - 3 days per week in Chatswood for 6 months
  • Some flexibility / 1 day Work from Home
  • Support a team helping people with mental health challenges

Role Overview:

The Intake Clinical Data Quality Worker's duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create and implement data quality checks and procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify data quality concerns and root causes, and provide recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and provide regular reporting on data quality.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform data cleansing, data matching, and data standardisation to improve data quality.

The Data Quality Worker will support the YESS program - Youth Enhanced Support Service of Uniting which provide early intervention and wrap-around mental health services to young people with the aim of minimising the impact and distress caused by the experience of early onset severe or complex mental health conditions to young people and their families.  

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data quality analysis, data management, or a related field.
  • Experience with data profiling tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of data quality standards and best practices.
  • Experience with data quality assessment, remediation, and monitoring.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools.
  • Experience with SQL and data modelling.
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance.
