All about your new role

As our Events Manager you'll be responsible for supporting the People and Culture team to deliver a range of people programs and initiatives with a focus on the delivery of exceptional events including Excellence Award events, Service Award events, Leadership Forums and Senior Leader Forums.

You'll regularly work with our Executives and CEO as well as our front-line employees through a number of regular events

These events are designed with our people at the heart and as such the design, delivery and people experience is imperative to their success. You'll have an innate ability to find imaginative, efficient and resourceful solutions, to deliver person-centred experiences

You will do this by:

Having absolute dedication to excellence, adaptability and a ‘can do’ attitude coupled with previous experience in managing and delivering events.

Skills and experience required to succeed

  • 3 or more years’ experience in end-to-end event management preferably in a complex organisation (We are 10,000 people strong and growing)
  • Demonstrated project management expertise with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A can-do attitude with a strong level of professionalism, self-sufficiency, and initiative.
  • High attention to detail you'll address the little things, that have a big impact on ensuring our people feel valued and events are polished 
  • Current NSW drivers license and vehicle as travel will be required. Generous kilometre reimbursement offered.

Required Technical skills:

  • Excel (v look up, pivot tables, editing and filtering distribution lists)
  • Outlook calendar management
  • Mail merge abilities and Distribution list management.
  • SharePoint site editing (training also provided)Processing vendor invoices and managing a budget (training also provided)
