The UWA Student Guild Events department manages and delivers over 20 events annually including flagship events such as O-day and provides support and skills based training to the student representatives, clubs, societies and departments to create an event calendar consisting of over 1000 events, from movie nights to balls and galas.
An exciting opportunity exists within the Events team for an enthusiastic and motivated customer focused individual. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Officer supports the preparation and delivery of events and activities in the Guild to enhance the student experience.
The role is wide-ranging and requires strong organisation and administrative skills, experience in event logistics and a passion for event theming and production. The Events Officer will also be able to communicate with colleagues, students and key stakeholders in the delivery of events.
The role being offered is initially on a full time, fixed term contract basis for 12 months with the potential of extension of contract at the end of the initial contract period.
