Our Energy Team at the Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF), is seeking to recruit a Research Principal position that would work in a full-time position on exciting research projects focusing on the decarbonisation of regional, national and global energy systems innovation in consumer energy technologies and/or social and employment dimensions of the transition of Australia’s energy system..
The Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) undertakes game-changing sustainability research at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Are you passionate about undertaking cutting-edge research to support the transition to 100 per cent renewable energy? We are looking for researchers with either qualitative or quantitative skills who are capable of contributing to high-impact research.
Applicants with prior experience in government, utility, consulting, university or any other sectors are welcome to apply. Prior experience working within the energy sector and/or government will be a strong advantage.

Research Principal (Level B) - $117,420 to $138,973 salary plus 17% superannuation
The level of appointment is dependent upon skills and competencies.
The university offers 17% employer provided superannuation and salary packaging opportunities.
This appointment will be made on a full-time, 2-year fixed term basis. Part time (minimum 3 days per week) will be considered for the right candidate
