The Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law is the world's leading research centre dedicated to the study of international refugee law. Founded in October 2013, the Centre undertakes rigorous research on the most pressing displacement issues in Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and around the world, and contributes to public policy by promoting legal, sustainable and humane solutions to forced migration. From its principled, human-rights-based perspective, the Centre informs public policy and opinion not only through its cutting-edge scholarship but also via public events, policy briefs, consultations, parliamentary submissions, award-winning popular books and a strong media profile. The Centre provides a crucial bridge between scholarship, policy and practice.
The Kaldor Centre are seeking an experienced, proactive Administrator to join their team. Reporting into the Centre’s Executive Manager, the Centre Administrator will manage all administrative functions, working collaboratively and liaising across the Centre and Faculty, as well as providing Executive Assistant support to the Centre’s Director where required. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and will be motivated to support the Centre’s mission of advancing humane responses to forced migration.
