What we are looking for
The Performance, Growth and Insights team at UNICEF Australia is looking for an experienced website manager with a strong background in developing and optimising website performance via an audience-centric, data driven and collaborative approach. You will bring to the table a strong level of technical proficiency and be experienced across personalisation, multivariate testing, SEO, and in maximising user engagement and interaction.
Reporting directly to the Head of Performance, Growth and Insights, you will be responsible for the strategic and technical development, performance, implementation and maintenance of UNICEF Australia’s website(s) and platforms to deliver on key brand/communications, advocacy, fundraising and program objectives.
Your day will include
- Drive ideation for A/B/Multivariate testing approaches. Develop website and digital testing frameworks & documentation aimed at driving revenue, leads, conversions, ROI and qualitative behaviours including advocacy. Make recommendations from testing and analysis with a clear stop, start and continue framework. Regularly present and share learnings e.g. quarterly and annual reviews
- Drive CRO, performance and web personalisation strategies leveraging various tools in our web architecture to deliver audience-centricity
- Lead tracking, goal setting and analysis of website and digital platform performance via tools such as Google Analytics and in collaboration with colleagues.
- Defining, managing, maintaining and optimising UNICEF Australia’s public website and other website properties, as well as all relevant digital platforms in close collaboration with external digital agency partners
- Developing and managing the long term and annual strategic website roadmap, incorporating internal stakeholder initiatives and priorities
- Providing CMS support, guidance and training to staff members and other stakeholders as required, and ensuring implementation of best practice SEO with the SEO manager who you will oversee on your team; managing approvals workflows and processes for timely implementation
- Collaborating on the development and execution of digital initiatives in support of brand/communications, advocacy, fundraising and program objectives to ensure best practice, optimisation and high performance
- In the event of a humanitarian emergency, supporting UNICEF Australia’s emergency fundraising response through our website, blogs, social media channels and email
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years experience in digital product management and/or managing web development using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO and A/B testing or CRO projects and working with external digital agencies
- Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript with demonstratable experience using digital and CMS platforms (particular preference for headless CMS)
- Familiarity with data analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Tableau Analytics/Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud
- Exceptional time management skills, with an ability to think on your feet and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- A strong interest in international development and for telling the UNICEF story, with a willingness to work outside of regular business hours in times of an emergency
- A passion for all things digital and dedicated to staying up to date and ahead of digital trends
